Fighter Characteristics
Each fighter has the same set of characteristics that describes how skilled your fighter is at various tasks.
Characteristic values typically range from 2-12 and can never drop below 0.
These characteristics, their abbreviations, and what they’re used for is summarized on the table below.

Fighter Size
Each fighter profile that you can recruit into your warband has a listed size. The size of a fighter determines how big their base size is, accounting the scale being played at. The details of this are summarized on the table below.

Other Characteristics
Fighters also have many other values that you may find on their character sheet. These mostly have less impact on their performance, and are summarized on the table below.

Fighter Conditions
ll fighters begin battles in a normal/ready state. These models are represented by standing the model up as it normally should. Fighters can drop prone during missions and are placed face down to show this. Additionally, fighters may become unconscious from injuries or other means. This is represented by laying the fighter face up.
Reach
Fighters can reach out and strike enemies that are within their reach. As a base line, fighters’ reach is equal to one yard. So fighters can reach anything within a yard of their base. Melee weapons can increase the reach of fighters, but only for attacking things.
Line of Sight
Line of sight refers to what any fighter in your warband is capable of spotting. To check a fighter’s line of sight kneel down to eye level with your fighter’s model, with the back of your fighter’s facing you. Everything that you can see in your fighter’s front 90 degree arc is what your fighter can see. This is referred to as “True Line of Sight” and is used by many other wargamming rule sets.
